Lucibel’s low- consumption indoor and outdoor lighting is manufactured in a next-generation factory in Shenzen, China, allowing the company to achieve cost savings of over 40-50% on components and gain a natural foot-hold in the world’s largest market. In fact, 40% of Lucibel’s current sales are local to the Chinese market.
LED lights consume 8 times less energy than a halogen bulb, and their life of 50,000 hours means they represent an inevitable choice for economic and eco-friendly lighting in businesses and homes. The LED market, standing at €5 billion in 2010, is predicted to increase to over €40 billion by 2015.
Lucibel will use proceeds from its equity round to finance R&D activities and expand into new markets including Spain, the Maghreb, and the United States. |
